Almost there.

CVS HEAD has preliminary support for callbacks on some platforms, but the interface is neither exported nor finalized yet.

See sbcl-devel for lenghty interface ramblings by Nikodemus. His current plan is to leave future issues to future and finish the current stuff first: if Win32 port needs an extended interface that means we must break all of SB-ALIEN, so be it -- but little sense to worry about it right now. TODO

Patch to fix PPC callback and vararg bugs on sbcl-devel

I've submitted a patch to sbcl-devel that roll rtoym's cmucl bug fixes over to sbcl. This fixes bugs with calling vararg functions, callbacks with 64-bit args and args <= 16 bits. -- Cyrus Harmon
